Dr. Mark Michael

Dr. Michael is a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.  He founded Mid-Columbia Eyecare Center in 1982. Dr Michael attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a double major in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and in Physiological Psychology . After graduation he continued his education at the Optometry school at Pacific University in Oregon in which he received his Optometry Degree.  Dr. Michael was president of the Optometric Physicians of Washington 1996-1997. He was the awarded Optometric Physician of the Year in Washington State in 1998. He has mentored other Optometric Physicians as a medical consultant and teacher throughout the United States, the past 20 years, and has testified before Washington State legislative committees on medical eye care.
 Dr. Michael is a strong believer in using education, recent research advancements and cutting edge technology to keep his patients seeing as long as they live.
Dr Michael's latest devlopment is a new  and succcessful process for treating chronic lid disease, that without treatment results in progressive dry eye syndrome. These new treatments can slow  progression and improve symptoms more quickly than ever before, by treating the cause of the chronic dry eyes versus it's symptoms.
He especially values the patient relationships he has built in over 36 years of serving the Tri-Citdies community. His patients consistently give him excellent reviews on his care. 
  
 Dr. Michael is married with children and a grandchild.  In his free time he loves hiking, exploring and finding new outdoor adventures.  
 

 


  

 Dr. Daniel Perdue

Enter persons name and title for SEODr.Perdue joined Mid-Columbia Eyecare in 1997. He attended college at Brigham Young University with a BS in Biology . He continued his education at Pacific University where he received his degree in Optometry.

His patients love his friendly and caring manner. He is an expert in dry eye syndrome and has helped countless patients manage this challenging disease.

Dr. Perdue and his wife, Renee have four children. Dr. Perdue is  active in his church, coaching youth sports, and the Boy Scouts of America.  He can often be seen cheering on his kids from the sidelines at various sporting and drama events at Pasco High School. Dr. Perdue enjoys photography, is an avid golfer, and huge BYU sports fan! He welcomes the opportunity to get to know you and your eye care needs. 

 

Dr. Nicholas Gubler
familyDr. Gubler joined the team at Mid Columbia Eye Care Center (MCEC) in May 2015. He previously worked as an associate optometrist at the Retina Laser Eye Center in Kennewick, WA. He brings with him extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. His specialty interests are in retinal pathology and neuro disorders affecting the eye. Dr. Gubler is a graduate of the Arizona College of Optometry and he is the 2013 recipient of the Harvey Yamamoto award. Dr. Gubler is an active member of  Tri-City Optometric Society (TCOS) and  Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW). He also holds membership in the American Optometric Association (AOA) and American Academy of Optometry (AAO).

Dr. Gubler enjoys helping patients achieve their goals for comfortable vision and healthy eyes. He enjoys teaching patients about their eye conditions and believes education is a key part of understanding and treating diseases of the eye. Dr. Gubler and his wife have two young daughters, and they can often be seen hiking Badger Mountain.
